About Rosetti Properties
For more than 65 years, the Rosetti family has been committed to building communities, creating opportunities, and earning the trust of the Capital Region through integrity, hard work, and an unwavering dedication to excellence.
Our story began when Richard Rosetti and his wife, Joan, founded Rosetti Electric. Richard established the company by providing exceptional electrical contracting services to area homebuilders and commercial contractors, while Joan managed the business’s billing, payroll, and permitting operations. Together, they built a company known for outstanding craftsmanship, reliability, and customer service.
As the business prospered, Richard’s entrepreneurial vision expanded well beyond electrical contracting. He began investing in residential real estate by constructing duplexes, multi-family homes, and acquiring apartment buildings throughout the Capital Region. Joan once again played a vital role, managing the growing portfolio of residential properties and helping lay the foundation for what would become a diversified real estate enterprise.
Richard’s passion for development continued to grow. Over the years, he personally built more than 500 single-family homes throughout the Capital Region, often spending weekends completing the electrical work himself. His hands-on approach and uncompromising standards became hallmarks of every project bearing the Rosetti name.
Recognizing the region’s future potential, Richard began investing in commercial real estate along New Karner Road. What started with a single office at 423A New Karner Road grew into a thriving commercial portfolio encompassing more than 425,000 square feet of office and retail space, serving businesses from a wide range of industries.
Driven by a vision to create exceptional residential communities, Richard developed Shaker Run Apartments on Sand Creek Road, a community of more than 200 apartment homes. Its success paved the way for additional apartment communities that continue to provide quality housing for residents throughout the Capital Region.
To focus entirely on real estate development, Richard sold Rosetti Electrical to a trusted employee, allowing the family business to dedicate its full attention to expanding its residential and commercial real estate portfolio.
More than two decades ago, Richard’s daughter, Jacqueline Rosetti, joined the company full time. Together, they modernized operations, expanded the company’s residential holdings, and positioned the organization for long-term success. Their shared commitment to thoughtful growth and operational excellence continues to guide the company today.
Christopher Falvey has been an integral member of the organization for more than 40 years. He directs the leasing and management of the company’s commercial properties while providing strategic guidance on financial planning, acquisitions, and the continued growth of the business.
Today, the next generation proudly carries that vision forward.
Following his graduation from college, Matthew Falvey joined the family business with a desire to learn directly from his grandfather, recognizing that decades of real-world experience could never be duplicated in a classroom. Matthew works closely with municipal leaders, engineers, architects, contractors, and commercial tenants to oversee development projects, commercial renovations, and the planning of future residential communities.
Jordan Watson joined the organization nearly eight years ago and oversees maintenance operations, capital improvements, vendor relationships, and the day-to-day management of the company’s residential communities. His leadership helps ensure that every property reflects the high standards established by Richard more than six decades ago.
While our company has grown significantly over the years, our values have remained unchanged. We believe that lasting success is measured not only by the buildings we construct and the properties we manage, but also by the relationships we build within our communities.
The Rosetti family has proudly supported numerous organizations throughout the Capital Region, including Siena College, Saint Gregory’s School, Academy of the Holy Names, 15-Love, the Wildwood Foundation, the YMCA, Breakthrough T1D, and the Albany Institute of History & Art. Community involvement has always been an essential part of who we are and what we believe.
Today, the Rosetti family continues to build upon a legacy established more than six decades ago—one defined by integrity, innovation, quality, and long-term relationships. As we look toward the future, we remain committed to responsible development, exceptional property management, and creating places where businesses thrive and families are proud to call home.
Building for generations. Serving with integrity. Growing with purpose.
